Bushwalk - Taronga Zoo Wharf to Balmoral
add this page to My Favorites
This walk explores the section of Sydney Harbour from Taronga Zoo Wharf to Balmoral, via Bradley’s Head, Chowder Bay, and Middle Head (Sydney Harbour National Park). We will walk through remnant bushland, as well as some historical parts of the harbour. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy at the park at Clifton Gardens, or you can visit the cafe there. This is a one-way walk with a bus ride back to the start.

Date: SUNDAY, 25th July 2010
Meeting time and place: 10.00am at Taronga Zoo Wharf
(There is limited street parking, or take the 9.40am ferry from Circular Quay, Wharf No 2)
Total distance: approx 7 km
Walking time: approx 3 hours, add lunch-break
Track grade: medium - While some of the track is paved and easy, there is a bush-track section which is uneven and has quite a few stone stairs.
What to bring: drinking water, lunch, sun-protection, bus-fare
RSVP by Friday 23rd July – either online, or phone Nellie (9565 4658), or email nelpav@hotmail.com

Please be sure to RSVP in case there are any changes due to weather etc.
