The Swiss Club of Victoria
can look back over a century of proud
tradition since its foundation in 1899.
The club was established to serve
generations of Swiss migrants as a place to get together,
create a link with their country of origin and to
foster and preserve the cultural and linguistic
inheritance of Switzerland. These aims are
just as valid now as they were a hundred years ago.
The club is still a favourite meeting
place for Swiss and friends of Switzerland alike.
Guests and visitors are always welcome!

The Club and its various sub-groups organise
a variety of functions throughout the year,
ranging from family picnics to glamorous balls.
There is something for all ages, from the playgroup for
pre-school children to senior members' luncheons.
The Club’s membership stands at around 450 with about 40%
of members being of non-Swiss background.

The club is ideally situated in the heart of the city,
offering excellent facilities as a
meeting/dining place for both
private and corporate functions. Lunch is particularly
popular with business people who enjoy
traditional Swiss food and hospitality in a
unique setting. Further information about our
club restaurant and contact details can be
found in Club Restaurant

You don't have to be Swiss to become a member of
the Swiss Club of Victoria. Membership not only entitles
you to benefits such as reduced restaurant prices and
access to club facilities and functions but it is a wonderful
way of meeting people,
networking, and making friends.
